Are Wall To Wall Bathroom Rugs Right For You?

If you have ever seen how lovely wall to wall bathroom rugs look, you may think that your bathroom would look fantastic with the inclusion of a wall to wall rug.  A bathroom carpet can give you something soft and luxurious to stand on as you get ready for your day or it can help prevent slips and falls.  These carpets are made in a variety of shapes, colors, and styles, and the majority of them are washable too so you can easily care for the carpet you buy.

You can install one of many cotton bathroom rugs so that it is permanent and so that it does not move around.  There are water resistant adhesive products that can be used to ensure that the carpet does not shift when walked on, vacuumed, or steam cleaned.  Today’s wall to wall rugs for bathrooms are made of semi-absorbent fibers and the pile on such offerings is short so that less water is soaked up by the carpet.

Some homeowners choose to place additional, smaller round bathroom rugs and small square or rectangular mats on top of the installed wall to wall rug too so that the carpet is protected from too much water exposure.  On occasion, adhesive products are not needed at all because some wall to wall bathroom carpets have a non-skid backside made of rubber material.  Many carpets are created with stain resistant features and they are also resistant to the natural color fading that occurs due to exposure to sunlight.

Manufacturers create wall to wall rugs for the bathroom in a range of sizes.  You can layout the carpet fully or you can even cut the carpet and use it to fit around bathroom sinks, toilets, cabinetry, and tubs.

The standard wall to wall carpet is crafted in two general sizes: 5 feet by 8 feet and 5 feet by 6 feet.  The carpet can be cut down to make runners or several smaller floor mats if you don’t want to install the carpet in its full size.  These smaller cut out sections can often be tossed right into your washing machine for a fast method of cleaning as well.  If you do choose to permanently position the carpet on the floor, you can stain proof the carpet with a good stain resistant product, and you will occasionally have to shampoo the carpet to keep it looking and smelling fresh at all times.

There are many excellent designers of quality rugs.  Jeff banks rugs and chenille bath rugs are quite popular but by no means the only ones known for quality.  It only takes a little bit of searching to actually fine a quality even luxury wall to wall bathroom rug at a discount, or at least, fairly cheap, either online or on sale at a local store.
